Frameless glass pool fence installed in castle hill, Sydney, 2154

This was is a large frameless glass pool fence we installed earlier this year. We welded extensions onto the mirror finish stainless steel spigots then we core drilled into a concrete slab. We left a 150mm gap between the slab and the bottom of the glass to leave room for the deck. This is the preferred method of installing a frameless glass pool fence on top of a deck. Other methods included making a concrete pad underneath the deck and core drilling through the concrete pad or for decks high off the ground we can pack/reinforce between the joists of the deck and screw into these. The latter still has an element of flex in the glass and a top rail is recommended.
